512MB Low-density Laptop Memory Oct 18, 2010

512MB,CL3, low-density, PC133 SODIMM SDRAM memory module for laptops.
This is an older type of RAM that will run on either a 100MHz or 133MHz bus (clock). I used this memory to upgrade an old Gateway Solo 1400 laptop for better performance. Initially crashed machine (BSOD); but after I removed the old memory (256MB), it is running fine. Machine runs much faster on the internet now. So far, so good.

All right, so I was running Windows XP on a laptop with 256MB of memory. This easy upgared to 512MB has made a very perceptible difference in the response time for the whole system. Well worth the money.
