Impressive clarity and depth perception Jan 19, 2012
By Robert Jones My reference for comparison was Gen I night vision and there is absolutely a world of difference. These make any of 3 different Gen I night vision products I've used seem like children't toys in comparison. Depth perception is reasonable enough to walk around on relatively uneven terain without tripping, though I've not done any running in them. Clarity is impressive. Light amplification is amazing compared to Gen I. I was way more impressed with this product than I expected to be. -1 star for price and relatively weak IR light built on (though it's not realley needed in any outdoor setting because of impressive light amplification.)
