5VGA (Laptop) to DVI-I (Monitor)  May 05, 2009 By joon
This cable is VGA to DVI analog cable, which can be used to connect VGA output of laptop to DVI-A or DVI-I input of monitor. DVI has digital, analog and both standard so it is confusing. Hope this information helps.

3Didn't work on DVI port for Dell 1901FP monitor  Mar 20, 2010 By W. Hiratsuka
This cable did not work on my Dell monitor using the DVI port. I should have looked at the pins more carefully in the picture. There is a horizontal piece of metal that has 2 sets of pins on either side of it on the cable. The female input on the monitor does not have any holes whatsoever around the slot that fits the horizontal piece of metal. This is my bad. I should have looked at the picture better. I give them credit fo having a clear picture of the pins, I just thought DVI is DVI. I am keeping the cable since it was both inexpensive and I may find another use for it later.

5Great Cable  Dec 12, 2008 By Timothy D. Stevenson
No more using a DVI adapter to hook up to my CRT monitor. This cable eliminated all the annoying noise coming from all the adapters I tried. Highly recommended.

5Perfect Cable To Hook Mac To TV  Jul 14, 2009 By Alaska Dave
I was looking for the perfect cable to hook up my Power Mac MDD 1.42 GHz to my 42" Magnavox LCD television and this was the one. I ordered this cable and it arrived in a weeks time (and that is all the way to Alaska). I hooked it up to my Mac and tv then hooked up an audio cable from the speaker plug on the back of my Mac to the speaker plug next to the PC plug on the tv. Then turned them both on and the Mac found the tv with no problem and set everything up. We watch downloaded shows on the tv from the Mac and they look fine with no noticeable loss of quality so we are very happy with the cable and the ease with which everything hooked up. Two more pluses is with OS X 10.5.7 and Spaces I now have 8 screens to work with and when I turn on Mirroring and use my cordless mouse I can sit on the couch and work my computer on the tv screen. Also, watching the Visualizer in iTunes with the music through the tv is very cool. I give an A+ to the seller, cable and Apple for good service and ease of use.

5PC on my TV  Mar 01, 2009 By A. Osborne "Ozzie"
I got this cable to display my computer on my 32" Samsung LCD. My video card has a DVI output and my TV has an VGA input. The display is crystal clear and everything works perfectly.
