1Not a new product, do not buy.  Dec 22, 2008 By Brian Burns
I bought this product after first breaking my original cable in a falling off the bed at the wrong angle accident then buying a replacement cable that lasted less than a year and was clearly of shoddy quality.

I find this "Genuine" HP Pavillion adaptor and think this seems a great price. Within a few weeks of buying it my computer stops getting power. Actually thought it was a computer problem and took it to be repaired. Turns out the charger I just bought does not work and that it is clearly not factory sealed, has been glued back together and simply does not give out any voltage.

Do not buy this product, it is a GENUINE rip off.

2Bad quality wire  Dec 21, 2008 By T. Nellimoottil
Hi,
In less than 1 month of buying the product, the outer black skin of the wire has started breaking up near the ends. I am scared each time I pull the plug off the socket if I touch the pre-exposed region of the wire. The one I got when I bought my laptop served me well for about 4-5 months before I lost it. I am in doubt if this replacement is really a genuine HP product.

2bad cord  Mar 22, 2009 By D. Vang
After 3 months of buying this product, something goes wrong and it stops generating power unless I have something against my cord. Just recently, the cord melted and so I have to order a new one.
