This wall mount was perfect for the install of my 51" plasma. The mount itself is easy to install. I doubt there is another mount that would have the TV closer to the wall. For the tight fit, depending on the TV you have, making any cable connections may require the connections being made prior to the TV being fully mounted. Also, the allen head locking screws, that ensure the TV is locked to the mount, take some patience since are they are behind the TV and require you to find the allen heads with the long allen wrench tool (provided) without "looking."

I originally purchased this bracket to mount a 50" Philips TV. This specific bracket was recommended by the person I hired to install the TV. Super easy to install. Very secure. I moved a year later and it took 2 minutes to remove the TV from this bracket. (Left the bracket for the next home owner since it was already mounted.) In my new place I had to mount a 42" Panasonic TV. Purchased this bracket, again. This time installed the TV myself. It was a snap with this bracket. I HIGHLY recommend this item!
